Career Mentorship
About the ProgramThe Hilliard City Schools Career Mentorship Program is offered through the McVey Innovative Learning Center. It is an opportunity for high school juniors and seniors to explore a career they might be interested in pursuing.
In the beginning of the program, students spend time in the classroom identifying their strengths and skill sets, as well as developing professional skills to be used later in their career. Once they have found a mentor, students complete a total of over 100 hours in the field gaining a realistic perspective of their potential career field, and discovering whether or not their field matches their interests and skill sets.
